Welcome fellow foodies!
The idea of creating a food blog has been tossed around in my head for a while now. I bake almost every weekend, spend most of my nights perusing through recipes and the bulk of my book shelf is filled up by cook books. When I bake something yummy, I share the pictures with my Facebook friends for them to gawk over. So why not create a place to share my pictures AND recipes for everyone to see and enjoy?
My love affair with baking all started when I received my Easy Bake Oven at the young age of five for Christmas. Ever since I discovered I can create (surprisingly edible) baked goods with the ease of a light bulb, I needed to explore more. Being in the kitchen, teaching myself the needed techniques of baking, and applying them to my creations soon became my release. I hope that my recipes can bring you the same joy and satisfaction that it brought to my family and friends.
So here’s the low down. My name is Victoria, a 19-year-old college student from Long Island, New York. After graduating from Farmingdale State College with my Business Management degree, my dream is to attend Le Cordon Bleu in hopes of becoming a pastry chef. This blog is my new, sweet-toothed haven of scrumptious delights where it is my pleasure to share with you! Here, we do NOT cut corners. The idea of no butter, no fat, no oil, no sugar, no eggs, no…ANYTHING that makes baked goods taste delicious is simply out of the question! Desserts are made to be SINFUL and that’s the way I’m keeping it.
So please, sit back and gawk, learn, indulge, but mostly ENJOY!!
With Love, Victoria 🙂
Love your work! Looking forward to following 🙂
Thanks! Glad you enjoy it!
