So where are my fellow Breaking Bad fanatics at, BITCH? Haha, I’m sure all of you, like myself are upset that our Sundays aren’t going to be filled with meth-y goodness, but I have to say that Breaking Bad was by far one of the most fulfilling television series I have ever watched. So in honor of the series finale a few weeks ago I made these bad boys. They are pretty self-explanatory, I wanted to obviously incorporate the blue meth, but not in the traditional way that I saw others make. Last minute I decided to run out to go pick up little plastic ‘dime bags’ to fill and place on top of the cupcakes instead. My mother was a bit curious when I showed up at home with 100 little dime sacks but when I told her what the purpose was for she thought the idea was brilliant. Although a bit taboo, these cupcakes turned out as wonderful as I hoped, and I hope that you guys enjoy them too!

These look great. We will miss Breaking Bad, it was a terrific show so well written and acted.
Thanks Aunt Ginny!!
Adorable!
Thank you!
Wow, Really! Out of ALL the thing in the whole world you choose to highlight you choose drugs!! Television show or not…so sad!
I think you missed the point of this blog post. The point here was not to highlight or idolize drugs, but instead to pay tribute to my favorite television show and be playful with its main theme. Instead of seeing the creativity and beauty in this project that I worked incredibly hard on, you’re focusing on your own personal hatred to what you think I’m supporting. I’m sorry if I offended, that was never my intention. But I think these cupcakes are the furthest from ‘sad’, as you put it; I think they are pretty damn great, and I am very proud to show them off.
what a breath of fresh air. Bitch and dime bag instead of all the fru fru crap in so many other blogs from those people with the perfect lives and families. BESIDES the fact that this is a BRILLIANT idea. Ill have you know you will be the first ever blogger i bookmark based on your sheer coolness.
Haha, Anne this makes me so happy to hear! Of course the ‘fru fru crap’ is nice once and a while it’s also great to see real themes going into my baking. I’m glad that you enjoyed the creativity of my post! Cheers 🙂
great idea…people absolutely love Breaking Bad and the fact you used your own creativity to highlight something you and many others loved to watched. Sad that someone find negativity in the simplest and sweetest things. Positive always outweighs the negative.
Thanks, LaShawn! And I agree, there was never an intent to inflict negative vibes on such a light hearted and positive project of mine. I will never fully understand people lol
Wow that was odd. I just wrote an very long comment but after I clicked submit my
comment didn’t appear. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over
again. Anyways, just wanted to say wonderful blog!
If food and drugs don’t belong together, why did our own government create the FDA? I love the concept! As for the I hater I can only say,try something new….you might like it.Don’t get too excited,I’m talking about the cup cakes WOW!! Now that’s food for thought [{}]
These are fabulous!! I’m late in finding them but am in awe of the creativity. Well done. I will certainly be attempting them soon.
